1960 ROLLS ROYCE PHANTOM V JAMES YOUNG SEDANCA DE VILLE

1960 Rolls-Royce Phantom V James Young
Sedanca De Ville
At the London Motor Car Show in 1960, this car was displayed on the James Young stand 76 at Earls Court.
Only 7 cars are known to have been built to design number PV225D. The coachwork, built of steel and light alloy, features the sliding De Ville extension to the front comparment and has electrically operated windows throughout. Other features include press button door locks, adjustable driver seat, loud speaker in the rear, picnic set, etc. The car has occasional seats making it a full 7-seater. The Phantom V itself was one of the worlds greatest motor cars of its day. With James Young exclusive coachwork, this particular example is one of the rarest of such a luxury motor car.
