1925 ROLLS ROYCE ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM I WINDOVERS ALL WEATHER TOURER
1925 Rolls-Royce Phantom I
Windovers Tourer
Chassis Number: 132LC
This car was one of the first “New Phantoms” to be built back in 1925.
This car was first delivered to a U.S. customer. The car later was sold to a ‘Lady’ in Scotland. The car was restored to its former glory sometime in the early sixties, back to the exact specification and color scheme that it left the factory. In 1967 the car was shipped back once again to the U.S. to its new owner via the SS Queen Elizabeth. Twenty years later she changed hands again, returning once more to England. The car returned to the U.S. again in 2000. In 2006 the car was shipped to Shanghai, China for exhibit in the Blackhawk Pavilion inside the Shanghai Auto Museum. The car returned to the U.S. once again in May of 2008 after a 2 year exhibit. One wonders how long it will be before she gets itchy feet and sets sail across the Atlantic again.
