Originally owned by John Payne of Troy, New York and was later sold to a Eugene Williams of Westbury, New York in the 1950s. In the 1960’s it was purchased by Homer Fitterling of Indiana who owned many Duesenbergs and later sold to Ed Weaver of Atlanta, Georgia. In 1995 the original Imperial Palace Auto Collection purchased the car from the Ed Weaver Estate Sale. The Imperial Palace sold the car to Dean Kruse of Auburn, Indiana and had the car restored in Las Vegas before heading to Indiana in 2006.
