1954 ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER WRAITH
HOOPER TOURING LIMOUSINE
Chassis# DLW3 Design# 8390 Body# 9999
Originally delivered in July of 1954 to a Mr. Gilbert Beale in London, England.
Hooper & Co. in London was commissioned in 1954 to build the body on Chassis Number DLW3 (from the Silver Wraith models series with a 4,887cc engine); Hooper's body number is 9999. This one was constructed to design number 8390.
The Silver Wraith was the last Rolls-Royce model to show a vast variety of coachwork styles. This very nice example is equipped with an automatic transmission, radio, 1 jump seat, picnic tray table, rear cabinet, electric center window divider, fog lights and dual heaters. The car also comes with copies of the original chassis card and work order.
