1958 ASTON MARTIN DB2/4 MKIII COUPE

1958 Aston Martin DB2/4 Mk III Saloon
Chassis Number: AM300/3/1622, Engine Number: DBA/1234, Reg. Number: 96 DRO
This car has been the subject of a complete ground up nut and bolt restoration to the most exacting standards that took close to five years to complete. Car was restored starting in the late 1980’s through 1993. It has all of its tools, a jack, and driver’s handbook. Upon completion the vehicle went on to win first in class in 1996 at the AMOC Concours d’Elegance. This was followed up by a first in the elite class at Silverstone in 1997 and another elite class win at Cornbury Park in 1997 Autumn Concours d’ Elegance. It was also the first Aston Martin production car with front disc brakes as standard issue. The standard 3.0 liter straight 6 DBA engine produced a claimed 162 bhp, there were two variations available with upward to 200 bhp. The vehicle has never seen a wet road since the restoration was complete. With its stainless steel exhaust, Boranni wire wheels, coupled with its beautiful green exterior color and grey leather upholstery it is without a doubt, the finest DB2/4 Mk III Saloon around.
