The #22 Corvette Challenge Car was entered by Panther Racing and driven in five of the 1988 season’s ten races by Todd Herman of Arkansas City, KS, and Mike Engelage of Brea, CA, with sponsorship by Panther Lifts. During the 1988 racing season, Corvette equalized engine performance and factory sealed the engines to maintain the series’ focus on competition among essentially equal cars. Racing has been an important part of Corvette history. Only about 45 of the 50 original race cars survive. The cars were street legal and this one is registered in Nevada. It comes with full documentation. You can own this original, authentic, historic Corvette Challenge Car preserved in as-raced condition.
