1941 BUICK SUPER MODEL 56C CONVERTIBLE COUPE

1941 Buick Super Model 56C Convertible Coupe
Chassis # 13978811
Handsomely presented in Lancaster Grey paint with a maroon leather interior, Wilton carpet and tan Hartz canvas top, this convertible was completely restored to exacting standards in 2000 and has been sparingly driven since. The body, chassis and drivetrain were rebuilt and refinished to a high level and in 2001; the car won its class at both the Palo Alto Concours d’Elegance and Silverado Concours d’Elegance in California. This lovely Buick also carries a number of desirable factory options, including power antenna, multi-band radio, spot and fog lamps, and dual mirrors. The previous owner brought the car up to modern safety levels by installing a concealed power disc brake system for the front wheels and whitewall radial tires. New correct brake parts are included with the car and can easily be reinstalled, if desired. The car carries transferable 1941 license plates and a container of spares, manuals, accessories, seals and fasteners accompany the sale. The previous owner has restored a number of Buicks and states that this car is crisply executed in every detail. Not only was every nut and bolt removed, but correctly finished items were used in the reassembly. He estimates the cost of the restoration around $150,000.00 and says authenticity extends to the use of the correct factory tag attached to the radiator cap.
