BUILT IN SEPTEMBER OF 1947. THE FACTORY BUILD SHEET SHOWS THE ORIGINAL COLOR SCHEME TO BE SEAGULL GREY OUTSIDE WITH RED LEATHER INTERIOR, JUST AS IT LOOKS NOW. AN OVERDRIVE UNIT WAS ALSO SUPPLIED WHICH ALLOWS FOR GREAT FREEWAY CRUISING. THE CONTINENTALS V12 ENGINE HAS BEEN UPGRADED WITH THE FOLLOWING PERIOD PERFORMANCE EQUIPMENT; EDELBROCK TWIN CARBURETOR INTAKE MANIFOLD, A PAIR OF ALUMINUM RACING HEADS, AND TWO SINGLE CHOKE CARBURETORS. THIS CONTINENTAL IS A MULTIPLE AWARD WINNER AT NUMEROUS EVENTS OVER THE YEARS AND WOULD STILL PERFORM VERY WELL AT CONCOURS EVENTS TODAY. THE CARS AMPLE POWER MAKES IT FUN TO DRIVE AND CRUISE WONDERFULLY. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST POST WAR LINCOLNS MADE.
