1960 ASTON MARTIN DB2/4 MK III SALOON

1960 Aston Martin DB2/4 Mk III Saloon
Chassis Number: AM300/3/1728
Engine Number: DBA/1346
Many Aston Martin enthusiast regard the DB Mk III as the most desirable of the early – series Feltham cars, definitely in the mechanical development and styling. The final refinement of the DB 2/4 was produced between 1957 and 1959. Some of the Mk III actually overlapped the production of the DB4 by seven months. A total of 551 examples were made, most of them coupes. The most noticeable change was the adoption of a DB3S style grill and a reworked instrument layout. The Mk III was also the first production model to have front disc brakes as standard issue.
