1957 COZZI JAGUAR XK120M SPORTS RACING SPECIAL

1957 Cozzi Jaguar XK120M Sports Racing Special
This Jaguar was the brainchild of a school age boy named Dan Cozzi. It was put into reality by his father and there neighbor Bill Nielson. Dan was 18 and studying to be an engineer but took off a half of a year to build his dream. Built on a modified Jaguar XK120 Chassis, this project was finished in 6 months. The aerodynamic aluminum body was designed by Cozzi and built by Jack Hagemann. The car was registered in spring 1956 and put on the race track to prove the boy's dream a reality. Taking third in class in its first race and winning its class at the final race in Cozzi's ownership is quite impressive to say the least. This beautifully restored car has been driven at the Monterey Historics and also shown at Amelia Island Concours.
